LIGHTWEIGHT PISTON KITS

Manley pistons are machined of high strength 2618 material. Each design is lightweight yet robust enough to deliver long service life. Offset wrist pin design is utilized for quiet start-ups. Perfect ring groove to skirt squareness is achieved through our unique "one fixturing" manufacturing method that assures maximum horsepower. All pistons come with moly coated skirts. Round wire locks, premium chrome moly wrist pins, and premium steel top ring sets from Total Seal are included with every kit at no additional charge. 9310 alloy upgraded wrist pins are available.

4G63 / 4G64 - ECONOMICAL "H" BEAM STEEL CONNECTING RODS


Manley "H" Beam connecting rods are manufactured from 4340 forgings to the same exacting standards developed and approved by our original equipment customers. There is a vast difference in quality between a Manley "H" Beam and the "other" inexpensive H-Beams on the market. Weight matched to +/- 1.5 grams. Perfectly round big and small ends. Bend and twist is tightly controlled. Cap fasteners are 3/8" ARP 2000 for the H-Beam and H-Tuff and 3/8" ARP Custom Age 625+ for the H-Tuff Plus. H-Tuff and H-Tuff Plus Series have a heavier beam for higher boost applications.

4G63 / 4G64 - PRO SERIES TURBO TUFF "I" BEAM STEEL CONNECTING RODS


Manley Pro Series connecting rods are forged from aircraft quality 4340 vacuum degassed material. Each rod is fully machined in the Manley Lakewood, NJ factory to the highest standards. Our signature "Turbo Tuff" design combines the appropriate weight and rugged strength for ultimate horsepower applications. Each rod is shot peened after machining and magnafluxed. Bores are round and without taper. Bend and twist is tightly controlled. Cap fasteners are 3/8" APR 2000 cap screws.

These rods are also available with ARP 625+ fasteners. To order, affix an "R6" to the part number.

Manley valves have set the standard for excellence in quality, material and design in the performance world for four decades. Manufactured from proven Race Master materials, Manley valves feature chrome stems, hard tips, fully machined surfaces and swirl polished radii. Many applications are Pro Flow design for maximum air flow.

Note: Manley Performance strongly recommends that customers check their valve guide size in order to achieve the proper valve stem to guide clearance. Guides may need to be honed when replacing stock factory valves.

Manley valve springs are wound from super clean alloy. Each design minimizes stress to ensure long service life with high lift camshafts. Titanium retainers are manufactured in our own double spindle CNC machines to exacting tolerances and precise installed height specifications. Valve locks are manufactured in our own Swiss turning centers with rigid control over the all-important angle to ensure precise mating with the retainer.

1. Choose your Crankshaft part number based on stroke and style (for Mitsubishi either Forged Race Series or Turbo Tuff Billet) and order the corresponding Rod and Main bearing part numbers shown.

2. Choose your connecting rod part number.

3. Choose your piston part number based on desired bore size and compression ratio (piston pins, locks and rings are included).


CRANKS

  • Premium heat treated forgings or lightweight 4340 billet
  • Multi-step heat treatment process and Nitrided for added strength
  • Stress relieved, shot-peened, and 100% magnafluxed
  • Fully profiled knife-edged counterweights on the billet forgings

RODS

  • 4340 material forgings or aircraft quality 300M material for extreme boost

Ordering a Manley Mitsubishi Rotating Assembly is as easy as 1-2-3...

1. Choose your Crankshaft part number based on stroke and style (for Mitsubishi either Forged Race Series or Turbo Tuff Billet) and order the corresponding Rod and Main bearing part numbers shown.

2. Choose your connecting rod part number.

3. Choose your piston part number based on desired bore size and compression ratio (piston pins, locks and rings are included).

Ordering all of the required components for your rotating assembly from Manley will result in extra $ savings. Please contact your Manley representative for more details.


CRANKS

  • Premium heat treated forgings or lightweight 4340 billet
  • Multi-step heat treatment process and Nitrided for added strength
  • Stress relieved, shot-peened, and 100% magnafluxed
  • Fully profiled knife-edged counterweights on the billet forgings

RODS

  • 4340 material forgings or aircraft quality 300M material for extreme boost
  • Fully machined, heat treated, stress relieved, shot peened, and 100% magnafluxed
  • Big and small end bores are final honed to a tolerance of ± .0002"
  • Bend and twist is tightly controlled
  • Weight matched to +/- 1.5 grams
  • H-Beam comes standard with 3/8" ARP 2000 bolts
  • H-Plus comes standard with 3/8" ARP 625+ bolts

Manley pistons are machined of high strength 2618 material. Each design is lightweight yet robust enough to deliver long service life. Offset wrist pin design is utilized for quiet start-ups. Perfect ring groove to skirt squareness is achieved through our unique "one fixturing" manufacturing method that assures maximum horsepower. All pistons come with moly coated skirts. Round wire locks, premium chrome moly wrist pins, and premium steel top ring sets from Total Seal are included with every kit at no additional charge. 9310 alloy upgraded wrist pins are available.

Manley "H" Beam connecting rods are manufactured from 4340 forgings to the same exacting standards developed and approved by our original equipment customers. There is a vast difference in quality between a Manley "H" Beam and the "other" inexpensive H-Beams on the market. Bend and twist is tightly controlled. Weight matched to +/- 1.5 grams. Cap fasteners are 3/8" ARP 2000 for the H-Beam and H-Tuff and 3/8" ARP Custom Age 625+ for the H-Tuff Plus.

Manley Pro Series connecting rods are forged from aircraft quality 4340 vacuum degassed material. Each rod is fully machined in the Manley Lakewood, NJ factory to the highest standards. Our signature "Turbo Tuff" design combines the appropriate weight and rugged strength for ultimate horsepower applications. Each rod is shot peened after machining and magnafluxed. Bores are round and without taper. Bend and twist is tightly controlled. Cap fasteners are 3/8" APR 2000 cap screws. Cap fasteners are 3/8" ARP 2000 for the H-Tuff and 3/8" ARP Custom Age 625+ for the H-Tuff Plus

These rods are also available with ARP 625+ fasteners. To order, affix an "R6" to the part number.

4B11 - PRO SERIES VALVE SPRINGS RETAINERS LOCKS & KITS

Manley valve springs are wound from super clean alloy. Each design minimizes stress to ensure long service life with high lift camshafts. Titanium retainers are manufactured in our own double spindle CNC machines to exacting tolerances and precise installed height specifications. Valve locks are manufactured in our own Swiss turning centers with rigid control over the all-important angle to ensure precise mating with the retainer.

Ordering a Manley Mitsubishi Rotating Assembly is as easy as 1-2-3...

1. Choose your Crankshaft part number based on stroke and style (for Mitsubishi either Forged Race Series or Turbo Tuff Billet) and order the corresponding Rod and Main bearing part numbers shown.

2. Choose your connecting rod part number.

3. Choose your piston part number based on desired bore size and compression ratio (piston pins, locks and rings are included).
